Philip started his forensic career in 2002 as a Reporting Officer in biology and DNA for the Forensic Science Service. He later moved to Forensic Alliance (which then became LGC Forensics) before joining Forensic Access in 2012. Throughout his career he has reported many high profile cases both in the UK and overseas, as well as reporting and working on numerous high profile cold case reviews and investigations.
Philip has held positions in Research and Innovation Implementation Management and forensic Quality Management. He also has a wide range of experience in setting up new DNA profiling facilities, advising on new laboratory builds, training and leads on many specialist projects. Philip is part of the senior management team for Forensic Access.
