In addition, we are pleased to offer our complementary e-learning CPD course The Forensic Process at a discounted rate (20%) for those delegates who have booked one or both of the above courses.

Delegates will be equipped with a complete suite of downloadable casework forms specifically tailored to support veterinary staff, conforming to the exacting standards as required by legal proceedings. These customisable templates are used throughout the programme and will be freely available for use upon completion of the course.

'The Forensic Process' offers in-depth pragmatic guidance for casework management and provides practical advice across a range of modules:

  • Suffering and Seizure – identifying suffering and removing animals from owners
  • Forensic Disciplines – utilising selected services in casework
  • Scene Examinations – documenting animals and environments
  • In-Practice Concerns – recognising deliberate injuries in live and dead animals
  • External Referrals – utilising services to support casework, staff and clients
  • Assessing Findings – bringing it all together

The programme can be completed at your own pace, at any time over a two-month period, and is facilitated by Dr Samantha Pickles (Head of Animal Forensics) and Dr David Martin (Veterinary Expert Witness). The discounted rates are as follows;
